Manu Bhaker became the 1st Indian after Independence to win 2 medals in One Olympic tournament

Shooter Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won the 10M mixed air pistol bronze medal match against the South Korean team. The match was a thriller but in the end, the Indian team was the first to win 16 series in the match.

After winning this match, Manu became the first Indian to win 2 medals in a single Olympic tournament. Manu Bhaker earlier won the women’s singles 10M air pistol match. This win adds a total of 2 Bronze medals to the Indian Medal tally.
